Day 1 - Thinking

Day 1 – Thinking

I spend a lot of time thinking, especially when it comes to crafting my characters.

I want my characters to be ‘real’ so my readers can relate to them. The physical descriptions are important – you need to get a picture of them in your mind. But in my opinion, their emotions, thoughts, dialogue and their reactions to different situations are what gives them depth and makes them believable.

I give serious thought to plots. The twists and turns, the ups and downs, and a well-described world is what grabs the reader and leaves them wanting more.
