She’s Back!

Hi Everyone,

Some of you must have been wondering why I suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth so close to the book launch. Allow me to enlighten you. I’ve been in hospital having surgery on my spine – good enough reason?

Anyway, I’m now home, rather sore and unable to sit for longer than five minutes at a time, but it’s amazing what you can adapt to when you have to!!

So with 8 days to go until the big launch, I have a million and one things to do for the launch and Blog Tour, so I’d better get cracking!!

  1. You are amazing Carlie! So glad your surgery went well. Try not to overburden yourself and allow your body to heal. Know that’s hard with your launch coming up. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. If it’s within my power I’ll happily oblige:)
It’s funny how you can get used to using a computer lying down! lol Just kiddin!

    • Aww thanks, Laura – for everything!

Actually I’ve found a way of typing lying down but can’t do it for long, lol! But you’re right – it’d amazing how resourceful one can be at times, lol 😀

    • Thanks, Joy. Er, did you say take it easy? Moi? It goes against the grain, lol, but up to a point I’m having to! It’s sure as hell not easy trying to type lying down!! 😀

    • Hi Dennis,
Thank you for your kind message. Yes, you’re right, but I’ve been having problems with my spine since 2005 and the surgery sorted out only the most recent problem of a trapped nerve root. I’ve had a fair bit of practice looking after it! Lol. 🙂
Thank you for your good wishes for the launch of Heart Search: Lost!
